Hackers & Founders (Amsterdam, NL) Meetup
Wat we doen
Producing enough food for a growing global population in times of climate change and diminishing arable land will be a challenge in the coming decades. The Netherlands is the second largest exporter of agricultural produce in the world, after USA, a country 200 times bigger. So how can such a small country achieve such efficiency?
Agtech company 30MHz is working with Delphy agriculture specialist to use ML to make this knowledge available as an application. Starting in December, they will be growing cherry tomatoes remotely for six months, in the the Autonomous Greenhouse Challenge competition, where five teams will participate.
Daam Rutten (30MHz) and Klaas van Egmond (Delphy) will explain what the challenge is about, where the difficulties lie, the innovation that it can bring and how we plan to tackle it.

Kelvin Aongola will speak about Antler.
More details of the speakers will be added closer to the date of the event.
Doors open at 7pm. Please enter through the street door at the front of the bar and not via the side door from the main bar.
